'Animals, Between Real and Imaginary'

'In Animals, Between Real and Imaginary' families will see different representations of animals on the artworks presented. They will see how some artists have depicted the animals in a realistic manner while others have sometimes altered their shape, size and colour.

During their visit, they will explore the function of each animal representation in the works of art exhibited. Some are symbolic, while others are spiritual or simply decorative.

To help families get started, there is a question next to each object. The answer can be found by looking at the artwork. Once they’ve answered the question, other activities will help them learn more about the works.
