The museum, the world’s largest local history museum, celebrates Qatar’s archaeological, natural history and people. The 11 galleries stretch more than a mile and the slanting walls are projected with ‘art films’ depicting journeys beneath the sea, above the desert and the creation of the earth.

OPERA Amsterdam in collaboration with Studio Louter designed and produced the Family Exhibits dispersed throughout the galleries. The exhibits offer families a chance to explore the different themes in an innovative, immersive environment that appeals to a multi-generational audience.
